Why does walking on the beach, looking for shells, feel so good? Is it the thrill of the search, or finding one that you've never seen before? I am always amazed at how varied their colors are, depending on the time of day, the weather, or whether they are wet or dry, worn or new! The late afternoon light, washes over the beach, warming up the palette, and bringing out the yellows and oranges.
