This is the first of a Colorado Series that is in the works. I have recently spent time over two summers near Snowmass, Aspen and Carbondale. After digging ourselves out from under Hurricane Ian, I finally am feeling inclined to paint from some of my many images of this inspiring place!
I spent an afternoon gliding down the Colorado River while my husband was getting a fly fishing lesson. It afforded me fabulous photos. I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I am loving painting them!
